Curing the Sick NHS
    The NHS was set up in 1946 by Labour, to look after Britain's sick. Once the envy of the world - now it's a shambles. The new structures of "providers" and so on, have created conflict within hospitals, when all the staff should really be sharing a common aim. The service to patients is good considering the problems, but it's distorted by the government's "targets" for everything. Managers manipulate the figures to achieve these targets. After all the billions of extra tax that New Labour has taken off us - the NHS waiting-lists are not really any better than under the Tories. Just you wait at a different point. So now in the A & E, you get seen by somebody (a minion) straight away; but you still have to wait ages to see the person who really matters i.e. the doctor.
   What happens if you (or your child) feels sick, and "goes to the doctor?" You get an appointment (the same day if you're very lucky - more likely in one or two days' time). If you happen to be sick at the weekend (some people are!) - the surgery is closed.
   You turn up and then (probably after a long wait) the Doctor just gives you a prescription for Paracetemol or Calpol and says "come back in seven days if it's not any better". The whole system is absurd and outdated. If you need any kind of clinical testing - even for the simplest, most common ailments - you have to make another appointent, another day, at a hospital.
The surgery should be open SEVEN DAYS. You should always get a GP's appointment THE SAME DAY. Simple clinical testing should be done AT THE SURGERY THE SAME DAY; the result back to your GP, within 24 hours.    The Health Service is meant to cure the sick and injured; that's what it's there for. Nowadays, more and more of the budget goes on stuff that's nothing to do with medicine. People get "cosmetic" surgery - changing the shape of their face like Michael Jackson. People with marital problems are abusing the NHS to get the so-called Niagara pills for "male importance".


    First "test-tube" babies and IVF - now these mad scientists want to "clone" humans, and use the body-parts of aborted babies, as "spares" (Just like a car scrap-yard). This research into "designer-babies" is called "Eugenics" and was used by Hitler to create his Nazi master-race.
   IVF; "Surrogate Mothers", "Womb-renting" . This was started by the Tories - under New Labour, it just gets worse. What a can of worms they've opened! A woman trying to be allowed to "have" a baby from a dead man's sperm. Children "fathered" through IVF, to be given the right to know their "biological" father (i.e. the sperm donor). So they could just turn up on somebody's doorstep and announce "You're my (biological) Dad!" And of course if there is a "biological" father-child relationship, it must work both ways. The donor could now drop in on some unsuspecting family, and announce "Your daughter is my biological child !".

   The whole "babies without Sex" nonsense has gone too far. It just gets more absurd and complicated every minute! Don't they understand the only father that matters to a child is the father who brings them up. You can't allocate any "father" relationship to someone whose only contribution is to ejaculate some sperm into a laboratory test-tube!
   If couples can't have babies in the normal way, they should do without, or adopt. (God knows there are enough millions of children out there waiting to be adopted - even more after the Tsunami).

    Have you heard about the so-called "sex-change" operation? This mutilation is nothing to do with medicine or health. These creatures say they're "in the wrong body". Whose body do they belong in ? Napoleon's? Marie Antoinette's? Madonna's?
They call themselves "Transistites". I call them "sad mental freaks". Obviously you can't really change somebody into the opposite sex! If you chop off someone's bonker and dress them up in women's clothes, they don't turn into a woman - just a very sad man with no bonker, wearing women's clothes!
    These Frankenstein surgeons should be using their skills doing hip-replacement operations.

   Yet again - a dangerous mental allowed to walk free from hospital, to commit a murder. Yet another "enquiry" - nothing gets done. Who lets them out? The identities of these medical "panels" is kept secret.
   The decision to release someone who is dangerous is NOT a medical decision. This is a job for the police. We would change the law, and also "name & shame" the doctors who've released any patients, who have then gone on to kill again.


   FAMILIES FIRST Health Policies :

  

  •  An NHS "Re-born" as it was originally intended in 1945 : to care for Britain's sick and injured. We would "amputate" ALL non-health services - (eg cosmetic stuff). These should be done in separate, private clinics - the customers paying the full price. Remove all the administrators; the NHS should employ just doctors and nurses.
  • End all the New Labour NHS structures of Providers / Targets / Managers, dismiss all the 1000's of NHS managers, return to the old structures of emplying only MEDICAL staff: Doctors ,  Nurses,  Anaesthetists, Physios, etc. End to PFIs and contracting-out of hospitals services, each Hospital's Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) would be responsible entirely for his / her hospital, from everyting to hiring / firing of cleaners etc.
  • A Revolution in Primary Health Care. Local GPs would all work in "Clinics", with a 7-day-a-week service; and same-day test results for many medical conditions.
  • Outlaw so-called "sex-change" surgery, and all similar trans-bender surgery, self-mutilation operations.
  • End the obscene and unnatural "Human Cloning" experiments, IVF, test-tube / "designer" baby research.
  •  Abolish the Embryology and Fertility Commission, which has totally failed.
